The estate is south east of Mansfield Town centre and comprises of nearly 1200 households – the majority of which belong to Mansfield District Council, Spirita, Places for People and Leicester Housing Association/ASRA. We have a shopping area which has a Tesco, Argos and Indigo Sun, as well as the Cuckoo Birch public house, a doctors surgery, Oak Tree Primary School and Oak Tree Surestart Childrens’ Centre. We are also lucky to have a deisgnated Nature Reserve in the middle of our estate – Oak Tree Heath, which is a Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI).

There are many active community organisations on the estate – each of which have their own page on this site.

The site will be updated reguarly to include news about what is happening in the area, along with information about meetings and events. We hope you will find the site useful and will let us know what you think  email: neighbourhoodcoordinator@oaktreenmt.org.uk

The site was funded for the first two years by the Working Neighbourhoods Fund and administered by the Oak Tree Neighbourhood Management Team.
